Memorizing answers is a trap

If you take the same mock test five times in a row, your score goes up — but your knowledge may not. You start recognising the question and its answer, instead of understanding the rule. That feels like progress and fails on a new question about the same rule.

Space your mock tests out

Take a mock test, review your mistakes, study the weak topics, and wait a day or two before the next one. A gap forces real recall. Two mock tests a week, with study in between, teach more than ten mock tests in one evening.

Review mistakes by rule, not by question

For every wrong answer, write down the rule in one sentence: why the correct choice is safe, or what the sign requires. Then practise that category, not that exact question. On this site, the results screen lets you retry only your mistakes — use it, then go back to practice by category for the topics that produced them.

Use both modes on purpose

Practice mode, with explanations after each question, is for learning. Exam mode, with results only at the end, is for checking. Do not use exam mode to learn, and do not use practice mode to judge yourself. Keep the two jobs separate, and your scores will mean something.
